The materials and supplies to be purchased during the first week of school (due by Monday, August 27^th) include:

Required materials:

·         1.5 inch-2 inch, 3-ringed binder

·         8 tabs for your binder

·         1 bound composition book

·         2 packs of  loose leaf notebook paper

·         Pens of any color

·         Pencils

·         Highlighters

·         Flash drive for saving your work (to be used in other classes as well)

·         Box of tissues (for community use)

Recommended for personal use:

·         Personal pencil sharpener

·         1 glue stick

·         Post-it notes (any color)

·         2-3 packets of 3X5 notecards

·         Hand sanitizer

*Headphones or ear buds

Students will receive an accountability grade for bringing the required materials to school by the deadline. If any parent has a financial concern about purchasing the above items, please email me directly.

Incoming 9th grade students will be required to read one book (from the approved list), write a book review, and complete a vocabulary assignment by the first day of class on Monday, August 20th. Please see the "Assignments" folder below for a copyof the assignment.
